History of Shenandoah Machine Shop

In 1970, Russell Comer started a model die shop in a small 600 square foot building on Comer Lane in Shenandoah, Virginia. He started doing small jobs such as die buiding and repair for local industries in the Shenandoah Valley. In the 1980's, he increased his working space to 3,000 square feet and along with a few new employees, they started making precision machined replacement parts for companies all over Virginia. In the 1990's, Shenandoah Machine Shop started building specialty machines and machine installation. After Russell Comer's retirement, the machine shop moved once more and is now located in our 32,000 square foot facility on Pulaski Avenue in Shenandoah and is owned by Randy Good, Ron Comer and Lyniel Kite.
